In preparation for a ketchup recipe and the ultimate homemade caesar, I tried my hand at making celery salt. The process was simple and the result smells incredible. I used a beautiful unrefined French grey sea salt that I pulverized in my mortar and pestle in lieu of a flaky salt.

Can’t wait to try it out!

mmm jalapeno salsa

Roast eight jalapeño peppers and two tomatoes in the oven until the peppers are lightly browned.

Throw them in the food processor with a healthy chunk of red onion, the juice of a lime, some salt, plenty of cilantro leaves and however many cloves of garlic you feel is just. I use a lot. Like a whole bulb.

Blend that all up until the desired consistency is reached and enjoy it on tacos, nachos, tostadas, etc.

Can’t. Get. Enough.
